Communication and Connection
-
Family Systems.
Every member of a family has a role to play. If these roles get mixed up or reversed, the whole family system can weaken or even collapse. Our family therapy sessions look at the family’s roles and discover tools to help these roles be fulfilled.
-
Attachment Styles.
Every child starts to build attachment to their mother before they are even born. If this attachment is halted or broken due to foster care/adoption, addiction, or depression it can affect a child into adulthood. Thankfully, there are tools which a caregiver can use to build attachment even if there isn’t a biological connection.
-
Two Yards and a Cozy Garden.
Every member of a committed couple (married or otherwise) comes into the relationship with their own baggage and family system. Each partner has their own yard to weed and tend to, along with a cozy garden where intimacy grows. Our relationship therapy sessions look at how to weed your own yard and build healthy communication tools to grow the cozy garden.
